Owner "As a child you would find a hair brush and makeup set in my purse! My passion for hair continued into adulthood when I decided to go to Marvel College, one of Edmonton's local beauty academies. I decided to continue my university education, while styling part time, to get my Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in management. After having my first child Austin, I decided to follow my dreams of opening a hair & beauty boutique here in my hometown! With the support of my husband, Greg, my business dreams and goals became a reality!
I decided to train as a professional medical esthetician through a local academy. Now, I have a wealth of knowledge of products and services available in today's market.
Today, I manage the salon and spa and have two young kids, Luna and Austin. Outside of the salon, I love taking professional development classes and photo shoots. Some of my hobbies include traveling, researching the next trend, interior decorating, pilates, biking, fashion, cooking and simply hanging out with the fam. "Hi! I'm Liessa! I graduated from MC College where I completed the hair and makeup program. After graduating I was looking for a salon where I felt comfortable, somewhere I could learn and grow my skills, Mint was a perfect fit!
I grew up around salon life and have always had a passion for the beauty industry. As a little girl I loved giving my dolls mini makeovers.
Other than hair and makeup my interests include baking, spending time with loved ones, learning how to play the ukulele, and fashion. I love making new connections and helping others feel and look their best! I'm excited to meet you!!" - Liessa
"Hi, I'm Rosie. I am a mama of two boys. I started hair during my high school years as an assistant and then became a stylist in 2006.
I've had a few different career paths and have enjoyed traveling, but have always come back to hair! I love making people's day by transforming their hair and making them feel good. It's fun to meet so many different people.
Between working at Mint and teaching yoga, I sure keep busy!I can't wait to meet you and help you achieve your hair goals!"- Rosie
" Hi I’m Katelynn! I developed a passion for hair when I was in my teens. I spent many summers with my Aunt in her salon, where I would help out where I could. I loved the smiles she created when people would see their finished hair in the mirror. Watching her do something she loved and the connections she developed with her clientele created a passion in me. I then began my journey where I graduated from Marvell College in 2009.
I love a challenge and keeping up with current trends and techniques! My skills range from women and children cuts, low maintenance colours, challenging hair styles and men's cuts.
I have taken a few years away from work to become a mama to my beautiful daughter. We have spent the last couple years enjoying time with family / friends, going for daily walks, with our two big fur babies, camping and shopping.

"Hi! I’m Ava, I’ve loved doing hair and makeup ever since I was little! I would cut my Barbie doll's hair. I decided to take cosmetology as an option in high school and absolutely fell in love with the beauty industry. Once I graduated in 2021, I attended MC College to become a fully certified esthetician! After a year of doing esthetics, I wanted more education, but in hairstyling! I became super passionate about hairstyling while going to school at Hair Inc Academy.
My favourite services are: lash extensions, brow sculpting / tinting, and natural hair colouring!
In my free time I love hanging out with my friends and family, travelling, shopping, and going on walks with my dog Kona!
